Toshiba America Foundation provides grants for STEM projects for grades K-5, as well as for grades 6-12

Philadelphia Orchard Project (POP)
POP assists school partners in designing and planting their orchards and training in ongoing orchard care, harvest, and use.

The Fruit Tree Planting Foundation (FTPF)
FTPF programs strategically donate orchards where the harvest will best serve communities for generations, at places such as community gardens and public schools.

The Salad Bar Grant is for including salad bars at schools. This includes everything a school needs to get started: the bar, chill pads, pans and tongs. Each salad bar can serve a school for 10 years, which makes it incredibly cost effective!

This Pennsylvania-specific grant supports projects that address nonpoint source pollution through local, watershed-based planning, restoration and protection efforts.

The Caring for Our Watershed Contest is open to classrooms/clubs who can address “What can you do to improve your watershed?” This is for Middle and High Schools in the mid-Atlantic region who are part of the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. Students look to develop and provide solutions to improve the Chesapeake watershed.
Proposal deadline for fall due February 28, 2025 – rolling deadline until spring; Final awards ceremony and showcase due May 1, 2025.

Environmental Education Grants Program
This Pennsylvania-specific grant supports educational projects that provide opportunities to expand the public’s understanding of Pennsylvania's environmental issues such as climate change, environmental justice, water quality, and other areas.
Due November 15, 2024 by midnight
3 levels of grants:
Mini Grant (up to $5,000)
For local (school, county, municipality or other defined area) environmental education projects.
General Grant Level 1 ($5,001 - $30,000)
For implementation of large-scale environmental education projects, such as School District-wide projects, engagement of multiple communities, collaboration involving multiple counties or statewide projects.
General Grant Level 2 ($30,001 - $65,000)
For non-formal projects engaging youth and teachers at three levels: local, state, and national.
